Specialized universities in contrast to classical ones offer specialties in one area (or in two-three). Due to this students get in-depth education and become all-knowing specialists in their field. Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel
The University trains specialists in such fields as mechanical engineering, metallurgy, power engineering, economics, radioelectronics and information technology. Programs connected with marketing, management, power supply, oil and gas production have become popular among foreign students.
Before admission it is possible to take Russian language courses to learn the language from scratch or to broaden knowledge. The courses last from 3 to 10 months.
The university takes part in interacademic scientific and technical programs. It cooperates with the Abdus Salam Center for Theoretical Physics in Italy, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Russia, the Institute for Low Temperatures and Structural Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Universities of Trieste and Padua.
Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives
The advantage of most specialties which foreign students can apply for is dual qualification. For example, marketing-economist, logistics-economist, commodity-economist, economist-programmer, etc. If you graduate with a degree in economic law you will become a lawyer with knowledge of economics. It's a great opportunity to mix the knowledge in two fields if it's hard to choose which one you want to work in.

BTEU students can get two diplomas at once - Belarusian and European. Participants of the educational program can study one or two years in another university, for example, in Great Britain or Bulgaria. Upon graduation student arranges graduation paper presentation in English in any of the universities, takes a state exam in Belarus and receives diplomas of both institutions.
Gomel State Medical University
Foreigners can enter GSMU for Bachelor’s in "General medicine". It is possible to study either in Russian or English. During 6 years students study general and clinical disciplines: anatomy, genetics, pharmacology, pediatrics, ophthalmology, otolaryngology, infectious and tropical diseases, surgical and internal diseases, etc. Part of the training takes place in hospitals: students contact with patients, participate in clinical rounds and consultations, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures and are present at surgeries.
At the interview the applicant must pass the interview in Russian language, chemistry and biology (the program content is available on the university website).
Brest State Technical University
In addition to the technical profile BrSTU can offer economic and architectural specialties. In the university you can become designer, architect, builder, become a specialist in economics and logistics, study radio electronics and information technology.
The Master’s programs for foreigners include such specialties as “Artificial Intelligence”, “Systems Analysis, Management and Processing of Information”, “World Economics”, “Ecology”, etc.
Both Bachelor’s and Master’s programs are available in English.
Grodno State Agrarian University
The university gives education to specialists in the field of agriculture: zootechnicians, technical engineers, veterinarians. There are also specialties in accounting and economics.
At the preparatory department you can choose biological or economic profile. There you study Russian language and the basic disciplines of the future profession: biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics, social sciences, economic geography. You can apply to the preparatory department from the 1st of August 1 till the 31st of December.
Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I. P. Shamyakin
Future teachers of mathematics, computer science, biology, chemistry, history, etc. study at this university. Foreigners can enroll at four faculties: technology and biology, physics and engineering, physical education, preschool and primary education.
Along with basic program students can take training courses. You can choose "Computer Graphics", "Web-Design", "Psychology of Business Communication", "Basics of Sewing" as well as courses in English and German.
Belarusian-Russian University
Belarusian-Russian University is located in Mogilev where foreign students study at economic ("Finance and credit", "Transport logistics", "E-marketing", etc.) and technical ("Industrial and civil construction", "Motor roads", "Mechanical engineering", etc.) specialties. At this university you can choose educational programs of the Republic of Belarus or the Russian Federation.
Enrollment to Belarusian-Russian University is possible after an interview in Russian language. If an applicant receives failing grade, he/she can be enrolled in the preparatory department for economic or technical profile.
Belarusian State Agricultural Academy
The Belarusian State Agricultural Academy is the leading institution of higher education in the field of agriculture in Belarus. The Academy gives education to agronomists, ecologists, zoo-engineers, technical engineers as well as economists, lawyers and marketing specialists who have profound knowledge of the agriculture.
You can get Master's degree in agricultural, biological, technical or economic sciences.
The academy has a training and research center "Experimental fields of BAA", practice ground, botanical garden which became a research laboratory. More than 800 species of plants are collected there.
