If you want to study in Belarus (spoiler: the country is cool and affordable for students!), catch the list of TOP-5 mistakes that many people make - but you can definitely avoid them if you approach the enrolment process wisely - and with the support of those who have already guided hundreds of students through it.
1. Last-minute submission of documents
Yes, we all like to procrastinate - especially when it comes to complicated bureaucratic processes. But in the case of applying abroad, it can be worth a whole year.

Universities work according to a strict schedule: you have to submit your documents by a certain date, apply for a visa on time, go through an interview, and receive an invitation. Any delay and you run the risk of not getting there in time.
What to do: - Start preparing at least 3-4 months before the deadline.- Keep an eye on enrolment deadlines: in Belarus, for example, the main enrolment wave is in spring and summer.- Don't know where to start? We already know it all for you - we'll help you build a clear plan step by step.
2. Incomplete package of documents

One missing document and the whole application is at risk. Especially often applicants forget about: - notarised translations, - documents on secondary education, - photographs in the required format, - a fully completed application form.
Sometimes all this becomes clear... already at the stage of rejection from the university.
What to do: - Check with the university for the exact list of documents.- Check whether translation is required and into which language.
Important! Each university has its own requirements for the necessary package of documents, age and citizenship. This information should be requested for each university individually. Or just ask us - we have already prepared all the templates for each specific case.
3. Disregarding visa and migration regulations
"I'll get a visa, I'm a student" - this, alas, does not always work. Any mistake in the application form, a missing document or failure to comply with the rules of stay in the country can be the reason for refusal of entry or even deportation.
What to do: - Take the visa issue as seriously as you would an enrolment.- Consider all stages: invitation, insurance, registration, border crossing.- Get support from those who know the local migration system - for example, we have a specialist in MyUniver who deals with this.
4. Ignoring instructions and recommendations of specialists
One of the most frustrating mistakes - everything seems to be done, the documents are collected, the questionnaire is submitted, but... you get a refusal. Why? Because someone decided: "I know better. These details aren't important. I'll take care of it."

But there are no "unimportant details" in international admission. Any deviation from the university's requirements can result in automatic rejection.
For example: - specified the wrong date format in the application form, - uploaded a photo not according to the requirements, - sent documents without translation, - arbitrarily changed the wording in the letter of recommendation - applied for an invitation to several universities at once.
What to do: - Always follow the exact instructions given by our manager. We don't just ask to double-check - we have the experience of dozens of cases behind it.- If you think that "it can be done this way", you'd better ask again. We will explain why it is important to do it this way.- Remember: we are working in your best interest. Our goal is for you to enroll and successfully start your studies, not just to "submit an application."
5. The expectation that "everything will be done for me."
Getting into a foreign university with the help of an intermediary is a great solution: they will help you with the documents, guide you, give you advice. But sometimes students relax too much and think: "Since I have paid, everything will be taken care of without my participation.”
In reality, it is teamwork. There are things that no one else can do but you: send scans promptly, go through an online interview, make an appointment to submit documents to the consulate on time.
What to do: - Stay in touch and respond to messages from your manager.- Do not put off important steps "for later", even if it seems like there is plenty of time.- Remember: we are as interested in your enrolment as you are. But we can't do it without your initiative.
