Some of the universities in Belarus provide online preparatory courses for future students. In case your plans got changed because of the COVID-19 outbreak, or you simply don't want to risk travelling abroad in the nearest future, this might be an option for you.
Online preparatory course will help you to:
- prepare for your studies at the university while staying home;
- learn Russian and refresh your knowledge on certain subjects in English or in Russian;
- enrol at the seam university for your Bachelor or Master's degree after passing the end-of-course exams OR
- enrol at any other university in Belarus after receiving the certificate.
For now, the Belarusian State University of Informatics
and Radioelectronics and Masherov Vitebsk State University is admitting applicants. You can check out all

What you need:
- a PC or a smartphone
- a stable Internet connection;
- an email address;
- an account at any popular messengers (WhatsApp, Telegram, Facebook, etc.).
and the following documents:
- Passport copy;
- Copy of your Educational Certificates;
- Copy of your medical certificate (that you are fit for studying);
- Copy of your Birth Certificate (if any)
- Copy of a notarized translation of all the above-mentioned documents;
- Digital photo of yourself.
About the online preparatory course:
Online preparatory course will last for 9-10 months: the groups start their studies from September till December. If you pass the exams successfully, you will receive a special certificate, which will allow you to submit your documents practically to any university in Belarus and get admitted without any further exams. The tuition fee for the course totals 2000$.
