The list of professions available to foreigners in Belarus will be expanded

From August 1, 2024, the list of professions available to foreigners without the need to obtain a permanent residence permit in Belarus will be expanded.

The updated list includes 18 new professions, most of which are related to leather production. In particular, it was added a tanning / ashing / technical production machine operator, leather dyer, leather applicator, leather presser and stretcher, leather trimmer, machine operator of a doubling machine and a number of other specialties. Back in early 2024, foreign citizens could work in Belarus without taking into account the restrictions on the protection of the national labor market in 35 professions and positions, now this list has been expanded to 53 professions.
