Studying abroad always raises a lot of questions, especially when it comes to enrolling in universities of neighbouring countries. In recent years, Belarus has become an increasingly popular choice for Russian graduates looking for quality higher education. In our post on how a Russian can enrol in a Belarusian university, we answered the main questions that arise for Russian graduates considering studying in Belarus.
The Belarusian-Russian University accepts Russians for full-time study on a bachelor's degree programme in the following specialities:
Technical group of training directions:Informatics and Computer Science, Software Engineering, InstrumentationEngineering, Electrical Power Engineering and Electrical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics and Robotics, Land Transport and Technological Complexes.
Engineering and economic group of training areas: Innovation, Management, Finance and Credit.
Socio-humanitarian groups of training directions: Foreign Regional Studies.
The study period for all specialities is 4 years, and the graduate receives the qualification of a Bachelor of the relevant field of study. Education in these specialities is based on Russian educational standards. When applying for admission, applicants have the right to submit their USE certificates to the admission committee (the results of the CAT are also accepted), and most importantly, at the end of their studies, graduates will receive Russian-style diplomas, which are recognised both in Russia and Belarus. You can read more about the admission procedure and the subjects for which you need to pass the USE on the university's website.
