Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin is one of the leading educational centers in Polesie region. During 75 years of its existence the university has trained more than 40 thousand qualified specialists. Many of them became famous state workers, doctors and scientists, olympic champions and talented managers.

MSPU has 6 faculties:

The university offers 18 Bachelor's degree programs, 3 Master's degree programs and 5 programs for retraining.

There are more than 150 teachers at MSPU, 90 of them have scientific degrees.

Mozyr State Pedagogical University welcomes international students - nowadays  about 200 foreign citizens are studying and MSPU, including part-time studies, Master's degree programs and PhD. 

The university has three comfortable dormitories, as well as a substantial number of sports objects. MSPU also offers its students various opportunities to develop their creative skills and talents in numerous groups, contests and events.
