International University «MITSO»

The International University "MITSO" is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in Belarus, founded in 1930 by the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus. The university educates specialists in economics, management, law, information technology and linguistics. "MITSO is located in Minsk, and has branches in Vitebsk and Gomel. The educational process is realized at I (Bachelor) and II (Master) levels of higher education, as well as in postgraduate studies.

More than 4900 students from 15 countries study at the university. MITSO International University cooperates with 55 foreign partner universities.

The students of the university immerse themselves in the educational environment as much as possible: they participate in exchange programs with partner universities as part of academic mobility, they win significant foreign competitions (in Austria, USA, Switzerland, Netherlands, etc.), take part in internships abroad, participate in conferences. The university actively participates in international education and research programmes - Erasmus+, Daad, Cei, takes part in international legal and economic competitions, and has over 55 foreign partner universities worldwide.

MITSO is excellent for an active and comfortable student life. The university has many creative groups - dance, vocal and others. There are also various sports sections. Every year, the university organises many events.

A new building of the university was built in 2015. The university has modern equipment and classrooms. There is a sports and recreation complex of more than 1800 square meters with large sports and fitness rooms, locker rooms and showers. The complex is located next to the university's academic buildings and dormitories.

For international applicants, there is a possibility to study Russian language in the Preparatory department of the University. As a result of this programme, prospective students will acquire a sufficient level of Russian to master the university's study programme.

The university dormitory is decorated with designer, designer renovations, and there is a canteen and pizzeria on campus. Free Wi-Fi is available on campus and in the dormitory.

Modern designer renovation, neat rooms and furniture from IKEA create maximum comfort. Each room can accommodate from two to three students.
 
The MITSO dormitory has a medical centre, a cinema, laundry facilities and kitchens. All of these facilities are available to every student living on campus. The hostel is located near the university, literally within two minutes walking distance.

The fees include utilities and ancillary services such as furniture, linen, laundry, etc.
