General Information

The Belarusian State Academy of Aviation was founded on October 1, 1974, as a vocational educational institution. BSAA is a unique higher education institution in Belarus that trains qualified specialists in the field of aviation. The Academy offers a wide range of educational programs, including specialized secondary education, bachelor's degree, master's degree, postgraduate studies, as well as advanced training and retraining programs.

There are two schools in the academy:
  • Faculty of Civil Aviation;
  • Military Faculty.

There is an Institute for Advanced training and retraining functioning under the academy. There is also a possibility for the future international students to take up preparatory courses at the academy.

The Academy has modern classrooms and research laboratories equipped with advanced facilities, which allows students to conduct practical research and experiments. Cooperation with the real sector of the economy includes the creation of branch departments on the basis of aviation industry enterprises, which contributes to practice-oriented training.

For foreign citizens the work of the information and consulting center on the issues of education and stay in the Republic of Belarus is organized on the basis of the Center for International Relations of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.

Life Conditions

There are 2 block dormitories on the territory of BSAA, providing free accommodation for all non-resident students. Each block includes 2 rooms for 5 people, equipped with a toilet and a shower. The dormitories are equipped with spaces for study and leisure, including areas for self-study, recreation rooms, gyms, as well as spaces for student self-governance. In the dormitory No. 1 there is a health center providing 24-hour medical service.

The Academy has a well-developed sports base and a set of sections for interesting sports, including freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, all-round wrestling, sambo, judo, arm wrestling and many others. Cadets can develop their talents in the creative association "Art-Propeller", practicing vocal, choreography and theater skills.
